Abstract
|

|
A case of idiopathic pure red cell aplasia is presented with a brief review of literature. The pregnant woman, 26year old was- admitted to our hospital with chief complaints of palpitation and puffy face.
Laboratory findings including bone marrow and high levels of serum erythropoietin were compatible
with primary acquired red cell aplasia and a cyto toxic immunoglobulin inhibitor of the marrow cells,
The patient was delivered of the baby with congenital anomaly- such as extrathumb and retentionships is of both lower gums, and the anemia was not cor rected in ordinary, hematinics. and after delivery,
We treated this patient with cyclophgsphamide and prednisolone, and the level of hemoglobin was maintained within normal range.
